It has rained and rained and rained for days on end in parts of the UK. Three storms hit the UK, especially the South-West of the UK in particular, back in January.
It has once again shown that areas of this nation need funding to become resilient to extreme weather.
Whilst Westminster is grappled with the fallout from the Epstein files, communities are having to cope with the aftermath of the storms and the rising river levels.
I believe Starmer should resign because of his decisions around Mandelson and the direction of the party and country. But I also believe that people aren’t fed up with politics, they’ve just realised that Westminster is that far removed from their realities that they’ve just given up on looking for politicians.
We need new leadership for this country.
We need to invest to make sure that places are resilient to the weather. There are parts of the country that sometimes don’t have trains because of the weather, yet in London they moan about the gap between tube services on a Sunday (ref GB News presenter).
To grow the economy, we need to take the entire country.
This would be proper change, the change we voted for.
Change can only happen if the whole country goes with it.
Every part should be equal as the next.
The storms before the rain showed the tv channels don’t care about places outside of the South-East. Cornwall was devastated.
Then the rain came and they realised there was an issue, that’s when the highlight came on the South-West and the North-East of Scotland.
The government should change to help with the change.
