As mentioned before, I was a member of the Labour Party up until last year. I’ve been thinking long and hard about which party attracts me the most at the moment.

The truth is the party I would vote for at the moment is……Labour. Which seems daft, I’m not happy with the direction of the government. However, no party is standing out to me.

I feel that the biggest let down is the Lib Dems. With the Tories and Labour both being disliked, you would have thought the party that could take voters from both parties would be thriving……but they’re not.

I want them to give me a reason to vote for them. It’s a decent party which seems to have come along way since the coalition days, but it needs to do more.

The over the top gimmicks and showmanship by Sir Ed Davey is off putting to be honest. He seems to be a decent bloke and the party does seem to be full of decent people.

They launched their local election campaign the other day by having a British Bake off style competition. Whilst that is nice, there are serious issues across the country. They need to be pushing to get media attention but their strategy is wrong.

Lib Dems should be controlling the centre and getting all the support, but they aren’t.

Just look at the polls, they are still behind the Tories, Labour and the Greens. They can do better.

Please, if anyone from the Lib Dems is reading this, give me a reason to vote for you. Give me that strong passionate argument. The argument that is as sensible as the issues of the day and get the headlines.

They need to be vocal.

They need to be winning here.
