Prime Minister Andy Burnham brings the new approach to the Labour Party and the government, that even the press can’t get their heads around.
This weeks main post will come later this week after the Prime Ministers address to the Labour Party conference in Liverpool.

This morning the Prime Minister was asked “yes you care about Public Transport and Rough Sleeping, but how are you going to grow the economy”. See, Andy Burnham isn’t like the politicians in recent times. He’s actually talking about the things that people on the ground are talking about.
Sorting out public transport and getting people off the streets with some hope will help towards boosting the economy. Give these issues the focus and time that they need and they will play their part to growth.
Whilst this country has been successful, there are large swathes that have been left behind. Burnham is bringing those areas hope. Yes let’s help the economic growth of the areas that have always led the way, but let’s give the opportunities to everywhere in this country.
We have been too centralised for far too long. Political and economic power focused in one area. Devolution will help push powers out to regions and decisions can be made closer to home, that will benefit everyone.
I’ve always been jealous of the way America has been built, successful cities across the country. We need that here. We can do it.
Burnham is bringing hope back. There’s a good feel around.
It will take time, but good things come to those who wait.
